Advent Reading Group

Our Advent Study Group will be following the book Birthing God – A resouce for Advent.
Five women are named in the genealogy of Jesus. This book explores the stories of these women and their subversive contributions to their generations.
Note from Sean: The Book is easy to read (not full of religious and theological language!) and includes a reading, reflection and prayer for each day of Advent. There are also reflections for Christmas and Epiphany.
The plan would be to meet for 20 minutes after morning the services in Advent to share our personal reflections on the contents of the book. A fuller discussion will be explored by the Fellowship Group to which everyone is welcome.
The Book is available online via Amazon and other suppliers at the cost of £6.75. A Kindle edition is also available.

Online Broadcast of Services
The service will be broadcast live via the church YouTube channel and be available for later viewing. A link is available below and on the Facebook page. A copy of the Order of Service, which includes the words of the responses, readings, hymns, intimations etc., is available on request via email.
