Please join us for tea and coffee in the hall after the service.
Kirk Session
The Kirk Session will meet on Thursday 21st March at 7.00pm in the Hall
.
Lent 2024 begins on Ash Wednesday 14th February
and runs up to Saturday 30th March.
Our theme for this year is ‘Lifting the gloom and finding hope!’
Each day of lent you are invited to read a short section of Mark’s Gospel.
(A suggested list of readings is available on request)
As you read, reflect on two things.
What is it that helps to lift the gloom that appears to permeate the age in which we live?
What is it that helps us to find hope?
The answers can come from any direction! From the Bible Reading or from other experiences or sources.
Each Sunday during Lent we will meet for 20/30 minutes after the service to share our thoughts and reflections.
Everybody welcome.

Journey Through Lent Walks
Join us to Journey through Lent this year.
Starting out in the first week of Lent from Cruden Parish Church , over the 40 days of Lent we plan to walk across the parishes in our Church group to New Deer St Kane’s Church.
The 30 mile walk (approx.) had been broken down into manageable sections.
We are hoping that folk from all of the Church communities in our Group will join us. You can come along for any part of any of the walks or for the whole of the walk
There will be prayer and reflection along the way and the walk will end with a short informal service at St Kane’s Church Centre on the Monday of Holy Week, 25th March
Interested – Contact Jan on 07460307416 for more information and to sign up.
